Data processed for a report
History Steward processes the selected Jira work item identifiers, keys and summaries; field changelogs, timestamps and before/after values; the IDs and display names of people or apps that made changes; discovery information for spaces, filters and fields; and access and license status.
These data are read through Atlassian Forge using the current user’s permissions and held in the browser while preparing the report. History rows and generated files are not stored in the app’s persistent storage or a separate provider-operated database. Closing or reloading the app clears its in-memory report; it does not delete files already downloaded.
Saved report presets
Saving a preset stores its name, source selection and label, JQL or saved-filter reference, period, time zone, field and changed-by filters, Before/After text conditions, output preference and creation/update timestamps in Forge storage. Presets belong to the signed-in account within that installation; the storage key is derived from its account ID. The record also contains the owner’s account ID, the oldest collection date and the next privacy-reporting date. These ownership and retention details are not included in downloaded reports.
Query text, labels and filter values can themselves contain personal or confidential data. Presets remain until the user deletes them, Atlassian requests their erasure, or the platform’s data lifecycle applies. There is no automatic short retention period for presets. Up to 20 presets can be saved per user per installation, subject to a storage-size safeguard.
Atlassian account privacy requests
The app periodically sends preset owners’ account IDs and the oldest dates on which their data were stored to Atlassian’s Personal Data Reporting API. It does not send preset names, queries, filter text, history rows or files through this API. If Atlassian requests erasure for a closed or updated account, the app deletes that account’s saved presets. This check runs without an open browser tab or active license. It does not generate or send scheduled reports of Jira history.
Downloaded files
Excel and CSV ZIP files contain the exported history and report metadata, including the query, filters, IDs and change authors where available. Anyone given a copy may be able to read those data without access to Jira. The exporting user controls the file’s storage, sharing and deletion.
Access is rechecked before download. Items no longer accessible are excluded from the exported rows and item details. This cannot revoke a previously downloaded copy or guarantee that permissions remain unchanged afterward.
Deletion and platform retention
Open Load preset and select Delete to remove one of your presets. Reading and deleting your presets remain available after the license becomes inactive. Deleting a preset does not alter Jira or downloaded files.
After uninstall, Atlassian applies Forge’s retention and recovery process. Reinstallation does not promise automatic restoration, and uninstall is not a promise of immediate physical deletion of backups. See Forge’s hosted storage data lifecycle.
Services and recipients
Atlassian Forge provides compute, storage, identity and platform diagnostics. The app has no configured external egress, tracking pixels, advertising or analytics provider.
The public site uses Hetzner hosting. The support mailbox is provided through Google and receives information you choose to send. Those website and support flows are described in Website privacy. Please send the minimum information needed and avoid full exports, credentials or sensitive work item content.
Privacy requests
Contact support@misheno.com with the app name, installation and a description of your request, without passwords or tokens. Requests about Jira content or files shared by your organization should also go to its administrator. The data processing addendum describes processing on a customer’s behalf.
