Support and troubleshooting

Explain what you expected and what happened. A small, non-sensitive example usually helps more than a full export.

Contact support

Email support@misheno.com with “History Steward” in the subject. Include the app version, the step that failed, your browser and spreadsheet application, and whether the problem occurs with the synthetic example.

If the app shows a diagnostic summary, copy it into the message. It contains operational details such as the app version, stage and request count, without work item content. Do not send Jira passwords, API tokens or full exports. Remove sensitive text and names from screenshots.

Support is provided by Mikhail Eshchenko. Support requests receive a response within five business days. Requests identified as critical by Atlassian receive a response within 24 hours. These are response times, not guaranteed resolution times. No separate uptime SLA is provided.

No changes, or fewer changes than expected

• Check the selected work items, dates and report time zone.
• Clear Fields, Changed by, Before and After filters to review the loaded history.
• Read the result status. An incomplete selection or history read may produce a partial report.
• Confirm that your Jira account can open the relevant work items. Very recent search changes may not be visible yet.

History Steward can only export field history Jira makes available. Deleted or inaccessible work items, comments, worklogs and the site audit log are outside this report.

The result is partial

Read the reason shown with the result. If a limit was reached, narrow the selection. If Jira temporarily rejected a request, retry later. If access changed, check permissions in Jira. You can explicitly export the available rows; the file remains marked partial.

A download fails or looks different

Keep the tab open until the file is ready and allow downloads in your browser. For a value that Excel cannot represent, choose CSV; the app will not silently truncate it. Extract the ZIP before opening changes.csv and keep scope.json alongside it.

Spreadsheet programs can render wrapping, print areas and page breaks differently. Include the application and version when reporting a layout problem. Import IDs and dates as text if your CSV importer would otherwise convert them.

The app asks for a license

An active license or trial is required for new reads, saving presets and exports. After the site administrator resolves the license, select Check license. You can still view and delete your saved presets while the license is inactive.

Report a security concern

Contact support@misheno.com privately with the affected feature and steps to reproduce. Please use test data and avoid public disclosure of customer information. See the security documentation.
